National Dressage and Para-Equestrian Squads announced

Following the recent release of the national squad selection policies for dressage and para-equestrian, Equestrian Australia is pleased to announce the national squads for both disciplines.

Following strong performances at the recent Sydney CDI3*, Queensland’s Sheridyn Ashwood (VDL Prestige) joins the national program on the 2013 Elite Squad, as does Australian Dressage Champion and 2012 Equestrian Australia domestic athlete of the year Maree Tomkinson (Diamantina) who moves from the A squad onto the elite squad.

2012 Paralympic gold medallist Joann Formosa (Worldwide PB) has been named on the Para-Equestrian Elite Squad along with fellow Victorian Nicole Blanks (Vledder).

Combinations have been selected on the national squads because they have demonstrated the potential to represent Australia at an internationally competitive standard. View the squad selection policies for both disciplines HERE
