We can highly recommend the Chateau Sarceaux in Normandy!
The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games Organising Committee has developed a web based platform to enable the general public to select and contact tourist accommodation providers in Normandy
A popular tourist destination, Normandy has a wide range of accommodation for its visitors. In total, the region boasts more than 200,000 beds for tourists (holiday cottages, bed and breakfasts, hotels, self-catering apartments, campsites, etc.), which are all referenced on this platform so that visitors can find something to suit their budget and their selection criteria
It runs through the same platform as the online ticket sales (which open to the general public in November 2013) and the online merchandise store (yes, you can already buy your WEG 2014 T-shirt) however, unlike these facilities, the Accommodation option simply helps you locate locate your preferred accommodation options rather than book online.
Information is provided in English (make sure you select English as your preferred option) then you can choose the type of accommodation you are looking for and which venue you would like to be closest to (you can find out more information about the venues here). This brings up a list of options with details, map, general description and distance to each of the venues plus a link to the actual web site of the accommodation (if available) or contact information
I’ve just booked accommodation near Haras le Pin for this year’s test event and Le Grand Complet CIC 3* and this probably would have made it much easier! We’ll be bringing you lots more information direct from Normandy in August but until then, why not start browsing to check out the accommodation available in this beautiful part of the world.
