Still smiling! Poor Will Enzinger taken off to hospital from Colac Horse Trials today
Last year’s winner of the CCI 2* at the Australian International 3 Day Event is out of action after a crashing fall at Colac Horse Trials today.
Will Enzinger was riding the horse Sorcerer’s Apprentice in the Pre-Novice section at Colac when they fell on cross country and reports are that Will has broken his leg but the horse is fine. Will was to compete in the HSBC Adelaide CCI 4* on TS Jamaimo and the Horseland CCI2* on Wenlock Aquifer but will now be unable to ride.
Will, one of the best known and most successful riders in Victoria, and his wife Emily had a large number of horses competing at Colac today. Last year when we interviewed Will after his win in Adelaide, Emily was in hospital awaiting the birth of their son – it looks like it will be Will’s turn this year!
Bad luck Will and we send all the best for a speedy recovery
Many thanks to Kate Beadel and Tazzie Eggins for the photo and update
