Several overseas based riders have been confirmed as Ambassadors for this year’s Australian International 3 Day Event
Olympic and European Championship gold medallist Dirk Schrade from Germany, Badminton 2014 winner Sam Griffiths, 2014 AI3DE Chris Burton, triple gold medallist Andrew Hoy and silver Olympic medallist and Canadian Team Trainer Clayton Fredericks have all confirmed they will be attending the Australian International 3 Day Event from 13th – 16th November in Adelaide.
It also seems that one UK based horse and rider will be attending the event and competing – but who will that be?
It has long been a hope of Event Director Gill Rolton that more overseas based horse and riders could compete in Adelaide but quarantine restrictions and facilities availability for the 4* horses have been a problem in the past. However it seems that the development of a quarantine facility is getting closer and the latest AI3DE newsletter has confirmed that one overseas horse has been booked in to compete so stay tuned ...............
