Today in Jardy CIC3* was the day of the cross country test. With his 3 horses in the lead, Clayton Fredericks (AUS) had 3 chances to remain at the 1st place. And as usual, he did his best to finish all his 3 rounds inside the time allowed (6'04'') to keep the three first places: Bendigo III (1st), Walterstown Down (2nd) and Be My Guest (3rd), his Olympic mount.

Yesterday after the dressage test, Bill Levett (AUS) was equal 4th with two French riders. Bill imitated his team mate Clayton and finished inside the time riding One Two Many NJ, letting him alone at the provisional 4th place. What means 4 Aussies at the 4 first place! But only one fault separates the 3rd (Clayton with Be My Guest) of the 5th rider, the French Eddy Sans with his top horse Mayland de Brunel.

Show jumping test on Sunday afternoon should be conclusive. Only 9 couples succeeded in being inside the time. Didier Dhennin (FRA) and his mare Encore Une Médaille (in English, one more medal"!) realized the best recovery, from 30th to 14th rank, with the fastest tour (5'56''). 4 riders encountered refusals, 2 decided to retire, and 4 were eliminated.
In the CCI2*, Philippe Perrin (FRA) is now in the lead with Phebus de la Mure, just 0,2 pt before Rodolphe Scherer (FRA) riding Makara de Montiège. Lara de Liedekerke (BEL), who fell...but 5 meters after the finishing line (!), is now 3rd with Ducati van den Overdam. Debbie Mitchell (NZL), who did an average dressage test with Yet Another Cavalier, moves up from 55th to 26th place thanks to only time penalties on the XC.
