This discipline started in the U.S.A. is the “ultimate” western-style discipline. It is always performed on a patterned course and contestants are required to alternate compulsory figures: big circles (fast galloping), little circles (slow galloping), leg changes, roll-backs (180°), spins (360°hind leg) and sliding stops. The horse is judged on its precision, obedience, control and attitude with which it performs the different required manoeuvres.
The WEG competition involves Team and Individual Competitions
