Shane Rose and Another Biscuit are the current CIC3* NSW State Champions
It doesn’t seem very long ago that we were reporting Shane Rose’s win of the NSW State Championships at Lynton Horse Trials in Goulburn. In fact it wasn’t very long ago, just October last year but with the NSW State Championships moving to Scone Horse Trials for 2016 and taking place in March, it means that Shane gets to be the 2015 CIC3* Champion for only six months (or does he stay CIC3* Champion and also become CNC3* Champion if he wins, meaning he would be CIC3*, CCI3* and CNC3* Champion concurrently? Plenty to ponder ..........)
However we doubt Shane is thinking about it but is just focussed on winning whatever it is. And he has started very well, currently leading the Coolmore Australia CNC3* on CP Qualified with a score of 36.60, ahead of Christine Bates riding Adelaide Hill (40.10) and Stuart Tinney riding Pluto Mio (42.40). The 3* class show jump late this afternoon as do the CIC2* competitors, providing entertainment for those attending the twilight barbeque
The Paradice Investment Management CNC2* currently has Emma Bishop riding CP Issey Miyake in the lead after dressage (41.40) with Gemma Tinney and Annapurna second on 44.40 and the ubiquitous Mr. Rose in third place on his six year old Swiper (48.40)
Another Emma, this time the legal eagle Emma Mason, currently leads the Bates Saddles CNC1*riding Casino Royal Diamond Edition with more results to come from the dressage phase .... stay tuned ....
