Cross Country App is a new application which helps riders of all levels to memorise their courses and ride to time. This weekend we have helped the Cross Country App team to record a course map for the CCI 3* at Melbourne International 3 Day Event so that you can experience the Melbourne 3 Day Event cross country course wherever you are for free!
You can either view the course map with images of all the fences on the Cross Country App website or download the free Cross Country App Lite to your iPhone or iPad to also have commentary covering each fence by Emma Scott (pictured below)
Emma was of course featured in the book An Eventful Life – Life Stories of Eventing Champions and is currently on the EA Eventing National A Squad with her horse Mustang. Last year Emma placed 7th at the Australian International 3 Day Event in Adelaide and won the HSBC Bursary Training Award for the highest placed first time 4* competitor
At Melbourne International 3 Day Event this year Emma is riding Mustang in the special London Shadow Squad CNC 3* class but has kindly done the commentary for this CIC 3* course
Amanda Ross has also recorded commentary for the M3DE CCI 1* course and the course from this weekend’s event at Bramham is also available
Simply visit www.crosscountryapp.com to download the free CrossCountryApp Lite and choose the M3DE CCI 3* Guided Course Walk. Once downloaded to your iPhone or iPad, click on the course map to view a fence and click the microphone icon for each fence to hear the commentary
