Land Rover, naming rights sponsor of the prestigious Burghley Horse Trials in the UK, is involved with two other big competitions this weekend in the eventing world.
The Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event Land Rover Tailgating provides reserved spaces where spectators can park on the edge of the Rolex Kentucky Cross-Country course providing the perfect spot to picnic and watch. Unfortunately they don’t provide the vehicles too for the tail-gaters but here in Australia, Land Rover is the official vehicle supplier for the Sydney International Horse Trials supplying vehicles for the Technical Delegate, Ground Jury and VIP transport.
The iconic car brand that is Land Rover has also teamed up with the Sydney International Horse Trials this year to provide visitors with the chance to enjoy an ‘off-road’ experience from the safety and comfort of one of their beautifully crafted cars.
You can sit back and enjoy being driven in the state-of-the-art dynamic technology of the Land Rover Defender, Discovery, Freelander, Range Rover Sport or Range Rover Evoque as it demonstrates its articulation, Traction Control and Terrain Response.
Land Rover will be demonstrating their cars' capabilities on their mini terrapod which, with both a side slope and cross axle ramps, really does demonstrate the true capabilities of the Land Rover product range.
The Land Rover Experience will run Friday through to Sunday and comes at no extra cost to general admission. The terrapod will be located at the back of the trade area, which is easily accessible. Why not give it a whirl, whether you are thinking of buying a Land Rover or simply want to see how they perform.
