Formerly known as the Trans-Tasman competition, the Oceania event for Young Riders will see riders representing Australia and New Zealand battle it out over the three phases of competition, as Australia’s team members look for the home ground advantage following New Zealand’s victory in the past three outings (2009, 2010 and 2012).

The Oceania Eventing competition for Young Riders will be contested at CCI2* and is an addition to the new look event, which will see the dressage and showjumping phases moved outdoors to a purpose built amphitheatre with spectator stands for event goers.

Australia and New Zealand have advised that their squad members are;

New Zealand

Bonnie Farrant and Kaipara Dior

Jessica Woods and Defies Logic

Madison (Maddy) Crowe and Brogan

Sarah Young and Regal Romar

Tayla Mason (reserve)

Team coach: Clarke Johnstone

Gabrielle Pither and Max Almighty - WA

Jaimie Stichel and Image Blue Ice - SA
