In addition to his top horses, Shane Rose has some up and coming stars
Mirabooka Horse Trials didn’t run a 3* class this year which was a shame for some riders still looking to qualify for the new CCI 3* coming up at the Baxter Boots NSW State Championships at Lynton Horse Trials, Goulburn on the 13th and 14th October.
However Shane Rose took advantage of the CNC 2* class to continue getting to know one of his more recent rides, CP Qualified owned by the Wischer family. This was CP Qualified’s first 2*start; Shane was also riding Shanghai Joe in his first 2* for a fourth place.
John Twomey and Wade Equine Flaunt It took second place and Jack Hayden on Jaybee Calypso was third.
Sandy Lucas and Diamond Snagglepuss moved up from fourth after dressage to win the CNC 1* with clear cross country and show jumping rounds and repeated the effort to win the EVA105 riding Belcam Cyber.
Shane Rose and his young horse Pumpkin won the EVA95, Melissa Simpson and Andy won the EVA 80 on their very impressive dressage score of 23.4, Inger Sutherland won the EVA 60 riding Springfield Miracle and Deborah Bower the EVA45 on Diamond O’Reilly
