The two greys - Stuart Tinney on Pluto Mio (left) and Shane Rose on CP Qualified (right)
“I was really pleased with him,” said Stuart Tinney of Pluto Mio who (at the moment) is sitting in the lead of the WHK CIC3* at Albury. “I was able to ride him as I can ride him at home. He didn’t get tense and was just lovely to ride … he is a really lovely horse.” Stuart’s test, which was judged by Vicky Brydon and Helen Christie, scored him a mark of 37.2. Later on in the day when we caught up with Stuart on the cross country we asked him what he thought about the Sylvia Roberts designed cross country course and Stuart remarked that “It’s tough enough … yes it’s certainly tough enough.”
Closest to Stuart (at the moment) is Megan Jones,( pictured above) riding Kirby Park Allofasudden who scored 45.6.

Although some of the Alltech 1* riders did their tests yesterday the majority of tests were carried out today and for one of the members of the 1* Ground jury, Winks Armstrong, there were a couple of stand out tests. “Both Judy Clarke (Diablito) and Amanda Ross (Loxley) did lovely tests. It was so nice to able to award those top marks and they certainly deserved every mark they got.”
At the time of writing those two riders were lying first and second.
