It isn’t difficult to spot Tarryn Proctor at an event with her distinctive green and blue colours which extend to even bandaging her horse with green and blue wraps for the prize giving! It’s a bit harder however to tell the difference between her horses as Tarryn has an absolute passion for greys and two of them were at Tonimbuk Horse Trials
Tarryn and her eight year old mare On Coming Storm won the EvA105 Section A with a convincing 8.7 point lead over second placed Tia-Rae Wieneroider riding Thrillseeker. They started by leading the dressage phase on a score of 49.4 and added only 1.6 time penalties on cross country to finish in the lead on a score of 51, which is a very good lead in to the mare’s first 1* start coming up at Albury
Tarryn’s other well-known grey horse, ESB Irish Quest, has been slowly coming back into competition after missing most of the 2015 season and they finished 16th in the CIC2* after a steady cross country ride and an uncharacteristic four penalties in the show jumping
