Badminton Life magazine

      No chance to shop at Badminton this year so make up for it with some retail therapy in Badminton Life       Photo: BHT

If you're rained off this weekend or just want to enjoy a good read while relaxing, this is the magazine to browse through. You may not have been able to be at Badminton this year but you don't have to miss out on the event magazine, the beautifully written, designed and produced Badminton Life. There are some fantastic articles, photos and much more.

Some of our favourites include;

Page 7: Badminton Press Officer, Julian Seaman Looks back on the beginnings of Badminton Horse Trials (including his own personal memories and connections) and the bond between Badminton and the Olympics

Page 94: An interview with Susanna Bordone from Italy, a lady closely linked with Australia through her ownership of Ava (Susanna says in this article that Ava “was the best horse I’ve ever ridden) and Carrera, both produced to 4* level by Stuart Tinney

Page 63: If you’re into hunting (or just love those crazy hounds – and who can resist these photos?), the interview with the Joint Master of the Duke of Beaufort Hounds, Ian Farquhar is a must

Page 124: meeting the Ground Jury for this year’s Badminton – including our very own Gill Rolton (not surprisingly, Gill’s favourite event was the Olympic Games at Barcelona!)

Find out on Page 18 what Yogi Breisner’s real name is (and why he is called Yogi), and throughout the magazine you will find some fabulous fashion items and shopping ideas, great articles about yummy food and much, much more.

 If you haven’t used a digital magazine before, take a little time to read to how to navigate through but it is very simple and intuitive. You can zoom in to easily read articles, go to a specific page to read your favourites or just browse through page by page.

Congratulations to the publishers and Badminton Horse Trials for producing a great publication – it is so enjoyable to read quality equestrian magazines. The magazine was printed prior to the cancellation of the event (only one small part of the ramifications of cancellation but, as publishers ourselves, we feel their pain!) and would have been available during the event.

Settle down for a good read and enjoy. Here’s to Badminton 2013....................
