Lot 58 - Kilbunny Blue Bird was the top priced lot of the sale

The new format received support from around the world with the first day of the online Monart Sale producing an exceptionally high clear rate and sales to some of the world's very best riders with Lot 39 - Monbeg Imperator - €25,000 sold to the UK, Lot 16 - BLF Bamiro - €23,000 sold to the USA, Lot 19 - Rathnageera Leo - €21,000 sold to the UK and Lot 21 - MRF Qwikstep - €20,500 sold to the USA
But the top lot sold on the second day with Lot 58 - Kilbunny Blue Bird sold to the UK for €29,000.By Kilbunny Blue, out of a thoroughbred mare by Bob’s Return. Kilbunny Blue Bird is related Jonelle Price’s Killbunny Andy who we recently saw in action at Lignieres and obviously “caught the eye of riders that had slightly deeper pockets and they were willing to push it"
Other buyers included Michael Jung, Elaine Pen, Kai Steffen-Meier, Kitty King, Nicola Wilson and Australia’s Bill Levett, who is also part of the Monart Team who put this together
Bill and his wife Jenny bought two nice three-year-olds (Lot 76 and Lot 95) that we look forward to seeing out and about in the future
