Lot 50 - Unnamed was the top lot of the Monart Sale 2022
The 2022 Monart Sale, presenting the best of Ireland’s 3-year-old eventing horses, once again attracted buyers from across the world including the UK and Ireland, Mexico, Belgium, France, the USA/Canada, Germany, and France.
Notable buyers include Ireland’s Aoife Clark, Lucienne Bellissimo (USA), Noor Slaoui (MOR), Harry Dzenis (UK) and European Junior Gold Medallist, Ibble Watson.
The 2022 average sale price was up 10.5% on previous years, with an average of €16,896, and six lots breaking the €30,000 mark.
“Once again, the sale has exceeded expectations and grown more than we could have expected. This year we’ve had buyers from around the world, in addition to strong Irish sales” confirmed the sale Director, Niall Griffin.
