Mary King has announced that her top horses Imperial Cavalier and King’s Temptress have minor tendon injuries meaning that they will miss the British Open Championships this weekend and the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials in September. Mary will be competing her other horses MHS King Joules and Cavalier Venture in the Intermediate Championships at Gatcombe
Meanwhile Michael Jung has also advised that his top horse La Biosthetique Sam will also miss Burghley. According to a statement by Michael’s father Joachim on the German Federation website, Sam has sustained an injury to his left hind leg putting him out of contention for the European Championships at Malmo and Burghley. Michael will instead ride Halunke FBW at Malmo
