Australia’s Kevin McNab and New Zealand’s Jock Paget have attended the FEI Tribunal Hearing into their case regarding the use of reserpine in their horses, Clifton Pinot and Clifton Promise, at Burghley Horse Trials last year

The tribunal hearing, which took place in London and lasted 14 hours over a two day hearing, will determine if either rider may be banned from the sport for a period of up to two years.

News reports suggest that Jock Paget has submitted evidence explaining and supporting his claim of "no fault and no negligence" but no information is currently available as to Kevin McNab’s defence

Neither rider is able to comment on the hearing at this point and they now await the result from the hearing which is expected to take several weeks
