Christopher Bartle receives BHS Lifetime Achievement Award

 

Christopher Bartle FBHS attended the British Horse Society’s National Convention on March 9th not only as a presenter but also as the recipient of the inaugural British Horse Society Lifetime Achievement Award for coaching excellence.

“It’s a tremendous honour,” he said of the award. “My mother was a founder member of The British Horse Society and so it is a great honour to receive this accolade from the Society."

Christopher, who is based at his family home at the Yorkshire Riding Centre, teaches and trains riders around the UK and across Europe. He has competed internationally in both dressage and eventing with great success including winning at Badminton in 1998 on Word Perfect and placing sixth individually in dressage at the Los Angeles Olympic Games riding Wily Trout and he is the National Coach to the German Olympic eventing team - winners of Team and Individual Gold medals at the Beijing and London Olympics and the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy.
