The first leg of the 2016 FEI Nations Cup eventing at Fontainebleau is going to be a hotly contested battle.
10 of the 13 countries represented in the CICO3* Nations Cup competition will be fielding teams with last year’s series winner, Great Britain and Germany being hot favourites thanks to their line-up of stars. However the French will be keen to start the season well on home soil, as they have done for the past two years, with a win here and have 19 riders to choose their team from
Australia was second at Fontainebleau last year and this year the team will be made up of Chris Burton riding Haruzac, Andrew Hoy riding Cheeky Calimbo and Bill Levett riding Improvise
Other teams will be fielded from Belgium, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Sweden

The first horse inspection takes place on Wednesday 23rd with dressage on Thursday/Friday, the cross country on Saturday and show jumping Sunday for the CICO3*
