What a year Laura Collett enjoyed in 2022, with the highlight being team gold at Tokyo 2020 on board London 52
Laura and London 52 started the year as they meant to go, with a win at Oasby Elite in March 2021. After a slow start to the season due to Covid-19 cancellations, the cream of eventing riders were invited to Oasby Elite to give them a much needed hit-out
Laura and London 52 had finished 2020 with a CCI5* win at Pau, and kicked off the new season with success at Oasby Elite in the Open Intermediate section D, adding only four cross-country time penalties to a leading dressage mark of 23.9
“It’s so lovely to have him come out and pick up where he left off” said Laura “He was awesome. I thought he might be more wild! It worked very well because they completed the dressage before any of the jumping started, which meant it was a really nice, relaxed atmosphere for the horses.”
We can’t wait to see them at the start of the season in 2022!
