The nine-year-old Dutch bred gelding Imposant ridden by Emily King is heading to the USA to join the stable of Phillip Dutton

Emily took over the ride for the Kerr-Dineen family on the 17h gelding in 2020, starting their partnership with a win in the BE100 at Aske, Yorkshire at their very first competition together

In 2021 they won the CCI2*-L at Houghton International and had several wins and second places in 2022 plus took fifth place in the CCI4*-S 8/9 Year Old class at Blenheim Palace International

“With mixed emotions we wave goodbye to the incredible Imposant. What an honour it’s been to partner this super horse for the Kerr-Dineen family … it’s been wonderful seeing him grow and we can’t wait to continue to watch him grow even more under Phillip Dutton” says Emily on her social media
