Saumur 3 Day Event must be one of Bill Levett’s favourite events. Not surprising really as he usually does well and no doubt enjoys some of the French food and wine at the same time.
So while Australian riders have been busy at Houghton Hall, Bill has been in Saumur competing in the CCI 3* and having another good run.
Riding Shannondale Titan, Bill has moved into first place after cross country but it will be a tight finish in the show jumping tomorrow as there is only 0.6 penalties between Bill and second placed Nicholas Touzaint who will no doubt be cheered on by his home crowd.
