"Love That Blonde" (Australian Stud Book name)
Blonde, as she is affectionately known is a 6 year old TB mare - off the track for 2 years and retrained professionally with Makayla Wood during this time
Blonde successfully competes at Eva105 level eventing with many results to date, both in WA and on the East Coast. Some of these for 2014 include:
Scone CNC EvA95 (NSW) - 8th place from 33, Highest Place OTT TB
Berrima CIC EvA95 (NSW) - 7th place finishing on 48.6 penalties
Albury CIC EvA105 (NSW) - 7th place from 30
Top 10 - 5 yr old class - Sydney International Young Event Horse.
Among many other WA results (Brigadoon 2013 EvA95 5th place, Swan River 2013
EvA80 4th place, Wooroloo 2013 EvA80 6th place)
More recently, Blonde has competed at the Transitions Dressage Inc December show and her results were 1st in the Unofficial Prelim 1:2 with a whopping 85% and 1st in the Unofficial Novice 2:1 on a score of 68%.
She also competed the following weekend in Eventing In The Park Diamond class (105cm) to just miss out on the Top 10, with 13th place out of 50.
I could go on and on. Blonde is seasoned and experienced well beyond her 6 years. An absolute pleasure to have around on the yard, to take away, and to train. Blonde is great out in the bush, loves the beach, has been regularly ridden by a 14 yr old. She is easy to handle - shoe, clip (doesn't need sedation), float/truck, worm and handle. She travelled across the Nullarbor and back like a schoolmaster. Blonde's only vice is that she very lightly windsucks, only when boxed up for long periods of time (not in the paddock) - and this is easily controlled with a collar.
A sad sale due to many up and coming horses, and commitments. Blonde will only be going to a very approved home. She would suit a junior rider and I believe she could make a first horse for the right rider. She would also suit an adult wanting to have fun and be competitive.
