2021 FEI Eventing World Athlete Rankings

The Board approved the proposed modifications to the 2021 Rules for the FEI Eventing World Athlete Rankings, which can be found here. The updated Ranking rules relate the number of Ranking points to the number of Dressage starters for all FEI Eventing Events.
 

FEI Eventing Athletes Categorisations

FEI Eventing Athletes Categorisations have been processed, taking into account results obtained between 01 July 2012 and 31 December 2020. The updated categories are available here.
 

FEI Eventing Dressage tests

All 2021 FEI Eventing Dressage tests are available and can be accessed here. The CCI1* test as well as the CCI3* B tests are new, minor modifications or clarifications have been included in the other tests. Track-changed versions of the tests are available on request.
 

FEI Eventing Officials appointments

Edited Guidelines on the Appointment of Officials at CCI5*-L Events, approved by the FEI Eventing Committee, are now available online here, published together with the Guidelines on Appointment of Officials at FEI Eventing Championships and the list of Eventing Officials appointed at 2021 FEI Eventing Championships.
 

FEI Eventing Nations Cup™

The 2021 FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ rules have been approved and published with the final classification rules and minimum prize money have been adapted to the current Covid-19 situation. The tie break procedure for the final classification has been updated as well.
 

FEI Eventing Cross Country Guide for Officials

To be read in conjunction with the 2021 FEI Eventing Rules, the Cross Country Design Guide for Officials has been updated and is available online here.

These important guidelines are updated on a regular basis to provide information on best practices, Cross Country philosophy and detailed explanations on all Cross Country fences, frangible technologies, ground lines and front shoulders.
 

FEI Eventing FAQ on Tack and Equipment

The updated version of the Eventing FAQ on Tack and Equipment is now available online here. The updated Eventing Steward Manual will be available shortly on the same page.
 

FEI Eventing Risk Management

The FEI Eventing Risk Management and NSO Seminar can be watched again here. The presentations and reports will be available shortly on the same page.
 
Reminder: As of 1 January 2021, all Cross Country fences, at all FEI levels, which can be fitted with a frangible technology, must be fitted with frangible devices. A Useful instruction manual and explanatory videos are available here.

 

FEI 2021 Rules Explainer Videos now available on FEI Campus

For the fifth year in a row, the Education & Officials Department is presenting the major FEI Rule changes in video format.
 
These videos are mainly aimed at Officials and Athletes who are required to be up-to-date with the different rules. For the wider audience these videos will serve a rather informative purpose, providing a deeper understanding of our sport.

The goal of these short videos is to highlight the most impactful rule changes and their rationale in each discipline, as well as more general regulations including the Equine Anti-Doping Controlled Medication Regulations and the Anti-Doping Rules for Human Athletes which underwent a full review in 2020.

FEI Sports Forum 2021 – New Dates

The FEI Sports Forum dates have been moved from 19-20 April to 01-02 June 2021. Both in-person and online formats are being considered.

FEI General Assembly – New Dates

The dates for the FEI General Assembly 2021, which is set to take place in South Africa, have changed from 13-16 November to 11-14 November 2021 for logistical reasons, and the FEI General Assembly will now take place on Sunday 14 November 2021.
