The Travel Grant Initiative launched today, offers interstate and regional EA and PCA Clubs an opportunity to apply for funding which they can put towards conference travel and accommodation expenses.
This initiative offers Clubs a chance to attend a national event which provides an opportunity to learn about the latest offerings in the sport as well as hear ideas from industry experts and the broader sporting industry groups which can be applied at a local level.
This year’s conference schedule covers numerous topics that will be particularly of interest to Clubs and event organisers including presentations from the Australian Sports Commission on club governance, how to attract and retain sponsors, how to make social media work to your advantage, important details on insurance and new programs that can be used in local Clubs.
The conference brings together coaches, officials, event organisers, riders and club representatives from all over Australia which also offers participants to share ideas amongst one another.
Travel Grants are available per state for EA Clubs, along with a total of two grants for PCA Clubs.
As part of the application process Clubs will need to demonstrate how attending the conference will benefit their local equestrian community and their club members. Applicants must also address how the conference will enhance their Club’s service delivery.
Only clubs which are EA/PCA affiliated and are located interstate or in regional New South Wales* are eligible.
