Michael Jung and Lennox 364
Following the two days of dressage at Le Lion Germany is once again in the lead in both of the classes. Michael Jung leads the Seven Year Old FEI World Championship class on Lennox 364, the dark brown Hanoverian gelding by Sunlight that has Heraldik as his dam sire and Ingrid Klimke is at the top of the Six Year Old class on Weisse Duene.
Michael was the only one in the Seven Year Old class to get a sub-30 score on Lennox with 38 while Germany’s Julia Krajewski scored 41.1 for second place on Chipmunk FRH, the winner of the CIC2* at Breda recently.
Emma Dougall and Fernhill Tabasco
Australia’s Emma Dougall and Fernhill Tabasco were in second place at the end of Thursday’s dressage on 44.3 but Julia and William Fox-Pitt, who scored 43.2 on Reinstated, bumped her down to fourth place, however Emma is still well in the running.
Chris Burton and Cooley Lands (above) and Noah Brook on Deo Volente (below)
Another Australian, Chris Burton is currently in equal fifth place on Kate Walls’ Irish Sport Horse Cooley Lands; both Chris and young Noah Brook riding Deo Volente are on a score of 44.7
Germany is in also first and second place in the Six Year Old class with Ingrid Klimke on the grey mare Weisse Duene (above) leading on 38.6 and Michael Jung second on Fischerincantas in second place on 39.1. The home side of France then has Stanislas De Zuchowicz in third place riding Vingt Vingt on 44.1 in third place and Merel Blom of The Netherlands is in fourth on The Quizmaster (45.2).
Making it an international affair in this class Poland’s Kamil Rajnert and Libertina are in fifth (46) and Christoffer Forsberg of Sweden is in sixth riding Quinn on 46.9.
