A happy healthy horse
When thinking of a healthy horse it's important to know some basics - such as your horse’s normal temperature and respiration.
Although you can read that your horses temperature should be 37.5 - 38.6 C (99.5 - 101.5 F) many people are unsure of exactly how to get an accurate reading.
The people at Kentucky Equine Research have put together a couple of videos on just these subjects and whey they say hang on to the thermometer they mean it!
