Nina and HP Chocolat
HP Chocolat caught our eye at her very first outing at Wandin in April 2013 where she was being hacked around by Mark Griffiths, brother of 2014 Badminton winner, Sam.
The now seven year old warmblood mare was first competed by Mark then his wife Vanessa took over the reins with success in eventing, despite dressage being Vanessa’s first love and the reason that HP Chocolat was purchased. However at the Victorian Eventing Fundraiser last weekend, 14 year old daughter Nina became the third member of the family to enjoy riding this talented young mare.
As Nina and HP Chocolat finished third in the EVA105 and qualified for the Australian Interschools Championships it seems that mum may not be getting her horse back for a while! That is, unless Nina’s Uncle Sam would like to let her ride Paulank Brockagh ................
