Jack Hayden and Jes Petherbridge left Australia around this time last year on a journey that would take them to some of the world’s best barns in Europe. Although the two young riders are focussed on an eventing career, they took the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes in show jumping and dressage stables too and to visit some of the world’s top equestrian events. They are now back in Australia and settling down both in their personal and professional lives, having started a business (as yet unnamed) based at M&M Performance Horses in the Southern Highlands of NSW and becoming engaged at Christmas.
Debbie Higgs caught up with them at Wallaby Hill, where Jack used to work and where they were both competing to find out more about their overseas stay and their future plans
