Jonelle Richards is a delight to chat with. At Le Pin, she was generous enough to spend a bit of time of AEL and tell us about her horses (luckily Jonelle remembers their names as Deb seems to be having brain failure with her horse’s names) and her life in the UK.
“Persistence, determination and hard graft” are important in getting established in a new country, says Jonelle and tells us how she and husband Tim have worked hard to create their base at Mere Farm in the past few years but are now focussed on cementing their careers
Afterwards Jonelle headed out on the CIC 1* course on Cloud Dancer for a steady round as she wasn't in the running for a ribbon. Both came back looking as fresh as a daisy and we particularly liked the Kiwi style 'vet check' (put your lower leg back!)
