Victorian based rider Simon Tainsh has had a busy year in 2014 making the move to being a full time professional rider. In November he competed at both the Australian International 3 Day Event in Adelaide in the CCI2* and in the Exhibition Eventing Grand Final at Melbourne on his top horse, Just de Manza.
The pair finished eighth in Adelaide, posting one of only five clear rounds in the show jumping phase to move them up from 18th after cross country. The nine year old warmblood mare Just de Manza, whose grandsire is the Atlanta Olympic gold medallist Jus de Pomme, is only 15.2hh but certainly showed her scope that day and Simon is hoping they will be back in Adelaide next year at CCI4* level
