Gina and Andrew at SIEC
Gina and Andrew Haddad are like many other eventing couples juggling riding horses, coaching and being good parents to their children. However as if that wasn't enough, when Andrew Haddad was the Equestrian Centre Manager at New England Girls School Gina admits she went through a bit of a mid life crisis. “I decided to do something I had wanted to do for a while, which was to go back to Uni and finish my degree.”
So Gina headed off to Sydney University and did a Masters in Education, majoring in Sports Coaching. At the end of the course Gina chose the dissertation option, which meant doing a research project. She choose a subject where she would be working within an area that was familiar to her with the project being based around the psychology skills required to be successful rider.

We spoke to Gina at the recent Sydney one day event where she told us about her horses , her family, her degree and her fascinating research project.
