Soigne and Ultimate Velocity in the show jumping at Albury - after a little detour!
Soigne Jackson is loathe to think of any horse replacing her beloved Gold but she does have two that she hopes will be her horses ‘for overseas'. At Albury Wodonga International Horse Trials recently Soigne was eighth in the CIC2* riding Warrego Collateral Damage and second on Ultimate Velocity in the EvA95.
Ultimate Velocity is an eye catching horse with lovely movement and a huge jump but also can be ‘a little quirky’ and is not the easiest of rides. When Soigne told me that even Shane Rose has refused to ride him more than once because it is a ‘chronic bolter’ and that she has found herself several times in precarious positions but still adores this horse, we had to find out more about the horse who was nearly sent to the knackery - Ultimate Velocity
