Kitty King and Ceylor LAN at Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials
Kitty King was the winner of the Event Horse Owners Association (EHOA) Award at the Annual dinner held on Monday 2nd November
The EHOA Award is selected by the EHOA board and awarded to a professional rider who has had an outstanding season; this year the prizes of a Devoucoux leather headcollar and glass trophy were presented by Cathy Butler to Kitty at the end of season dinner in the Saddlers Hall, London
Other EHOA awards were;
The Darby’s Rider Award, winner selected from candidate riders nominated by EHOA members, awarded to Amy Martin (presented by Helen Niebuhr of Darby’s)
The Shearwater Owner Award, an owner who has made an exceptional contribution to the sport, awarded to Wendy Rae (presented by Jeremy & Susan Lawton of Shearwater Insurance)
The Shearwater Owner Rider Award, selected from nominations by Susan Lawton, awarded to Tamsin Drew (presented by Susan Lawton of Shearwater Insurance)
The Huntridge Plaque, presented to the Owner of the horse which gains the most BE points in the season, the sire or dam of which is a thoroughbred, awarded to Trisha Rickards (presented by Cathy Butler to Nigella Hall as Trisha Rickards was unable to attend)
