The Great Meadow Foundation owns and operates the picturesque venue for the USA leg, which annually hosts the Virginia Gold Cup steeplechase races. Eventing competition was added to the Great Meadow calendar in 2014 when it hosted the World Equestrian Games Preparation Event for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team and its inaugural CIC3* was held in June 2015 as part of the Pan American Games Preparation Event.
