After cross country day at Boekelo the man in charge is still Michael Jung for Germany riding Halunke (above) with a double clear round. Andrew Nicholson (below) is still in second place with a clear jumping but 2.4 time penalties and Dirk Schrade has moved up from sixth to third, again with a double clear. Team mate Ingrid Klimke riding Tabasco moved up a few places into fifth giving Germany a good lead in the teams competition but the young New Zealand rider Jesse Campbell and Kaapachino moved up 20 spots to seventh and helped to keep the New Zealand team in second place
Swiss rider Felix Vogg, winner of the 2012 World Cup Eventing title recently, also moved up the leader board from 32nd to 8th. French riders Veronique Real on Pouchkine d’Arcy moved from 38th to ninth while Donatien Schauly moved from 39th to 11th; along with Nicholas Touzaint and Princesse Pilot in fourth this puts the French team into third place.
The Australian team are sadly out of contention as Bill Levett retired Ballymore Rich Cat on course however Sammi Mcleod is in 43rd place on Kintara (below) and Catherine Burrell on Urzan (above) is in 35th place
