Lucinda Fredericks has confirmed the retirement of one of her top horses Prada (Hattie), owned by herself and Vicki Miller. Prada started the year in March at Tweseldown with a second place in the OI prior to Lucinda’s rotation fall on another horse.
Lucinda commented “We so nearly got to Pau this year with Prada but unfortunately she was plagued with different injuries which have prevented her from reaching her full potential. Luckily Vicky Miller, her joint owner has had two beautiful foals by ET by Sir Donnerhall and I have had a stunning black filly by Oslo”.
Lucinda added “ Prada has definitely been one of my most challenging horses but in the same breath has been one of the most exhilarating cross country rides I have had the pleasure of experiencing”.
"Plans for Prada are undecided at the present time but hopefully after the winter months we will look into breeding from her and for her to enjoy her retirement along with her children."
Lucinda is now hoping for some new horses and owners to join the team to join her top horse Flying Finish, with the hope of getting to WEG in 2014 and Rio in 2016.
