Britain’s Tom McEwen remains on top of the FEI Eventing World Rankings with 552 points as at the end of September and his Olympic teammate Ros Canter has moved into second place (497 points) thanks to her win on Lordships Graffalo at Defender Burghley in early September, but New Zealand’s Tim Price is gaining ground, now in third place (476 points).

Tim’s CCI4*-L win on Happy Boy at Blenheim International plus second place on Vitali at Burghley boosted his points balance, moving him from seventh place at the end of August in third place.

Belgium’s Lara De Liedekerke-Meier, previously in second place is now fourth (470), Britain’s Oliver Townend fifth (411), USA’s Boyd Martin sixth (385) and Switzerland’s Felix Vogg seventh (382) but the big jump of the month came from Britain’s Harry Meade, moving from 54th to eighth place (377) thanks to three good performances at Burghley.

Britain’s Gemma Stevens and Izzy Taylor are also back in the top 50, in 46th and 50th places respectively, while Chris Burton remains the top ranked Australian rider in 19th place.
