About Teegan:
19 years old
Live in Howlong NSW (near Albury)
Studying Bachelor of Accounting at Charles Sturt University in Albury
Started competing when 8 years old but was riding before this
Best performances:
1st place in the CCI 2* at Sydney International Horse Trials 2014 and leading Young Rider
1st Place Junior 1* Melbourne International Horse Trials 2011
1st Place Junior 1* Sydney International Horse Trials 2011
Her Horse:
Rockingham No Reason (aka Boris) is a very dopey 12 year old, bay gelding by Northern Romulus out of a TB mare called Tumpling II. His full brother Rockingham Tiggerific is competing in the 1* at MIHT also!
Teegan says “I got Boris in 2007 as a 5 year old who had only just started eventing. I rode him in Pony Club and Interschools events in all disciplines before specialising in eventing in about 2010. Over the last 7 years, Boris has been the most generous and patient horse and this journey is so special because we have been learning the ropes of high level eventing together.
We are aiming at doing our first 3* together in July and are really looking forward to Melbourne International Horse Trials!”

Bonnie Farrant (New Zealand)
Bonnie’s home town is Rangiora, where she attended pony club and started competing from when she was 10 years old. Now 18, she is currently at Massey University in Palmerston North in her first year of studying Environmental Science. She hopes to go as far as she can in the world of eventing but also wants the security of a degree. Bonnie is currently able to juggle horses and studies, and keeps her two horses at the Massey University Equestrian Centre.
Bonnie was actually born in Australia (Gold Coast) and came to New Zealand with her family when she was 9 years old. Her proudest achievements so far in her equestrian pursuits include winning the Junior Rider title in 2012 on her mare she has brought up the grades herself, as well as doing very well at NZ Pony Club Eventing championships on an RSPCA rescue pony, Montana Boy.
Originally coached by Emily Cammock and Jackque Williams in the South Island, Bonnie’s trainers now she is based in the North Island are Penny Castle and Andrew Scott.
Kaipara Dior, an 8 year old, is known as Darcy at home. They have gradually climbed the ranks in eventing together after Darcy came to Bonnie as a green 5 year old.
