The multi-tasking Prue Barrett

Sometimes the year between the Olympics and the World Equestrian Games can appear a little flat but for National Performance Director of Eventing Prue Barrett it will be as busy and exciting as ever. The ball gets rolling with National Squad Camps happening both here in Australia and in the UK in the next couple of weeks.

“These camps give riders the chance to enjoy top class instruction from the Australian coaches, but also it gives them a chance to get together and talk about their plans for the year ahead,” Prue told us. “The camps give us the chance to make sure we are all on the ‘same page’ and working the right way towards the big goals of Normandy 2014 and Rio 2016. There are lots of other exciting events on this years calendar which I’m looking forward to, including the Trans Tasman and the State of Origin at the Warwick 3 Day Event.”

Making sure that entries are in on time is high priority for Oliver Barrett
