You are going to look an absolute star in our 2015 cross country videos! Our propeller heads have been working on some improvements to our video technology and, although we can’t yet reveal some of the new things that are in the pipeline, we can tell you that the resolution of our videos has been increased from 852x480 to 1280 x 720 - an increase of 50%.
What does that mean? It means the video is crisper, clearer and that makes you and your horse look even better as you fly across those fences. Take a look at two examples below – the top one was uploaded at 1280 x 720 while the one underneath was uploaded at the old resolution. The other good news is that new resolution will apply to all videos uploaded from 2015 regardless of when they were filmed
More UK and Australian events in 2015
We will also be videoing at even more events this year. Our 2015 calendar will be finalised soon and published on the website but we can tell you that not only we will be videoing at more events in Australia but also in the UK.
Our video crew will be busy in the UK covering over 30 events from March to October 2015 including, amongst others, Oasby1, Burnham Market1, Belton International Horse Trials and Keysoe in the first few months.
In Australia we kick off in January with Cockatoo Pony Club Jump Trials at Wandin Park (18th January) and have a busy year ahead. As well as all the regulars such as Tonimbuk, Wandin, Wallaby Hill and SIEC @ SIEC in the next few months we are finally heading to South Australia to cover the beautiful Surf and Turf at Lockington Horse Trials
