See you at Equestriad

Pluto Mio will be strutting his stuff back in Australia at Equestriad this weekend

It’s time for that big event of the year – the one that attracts the largest numbers of riders in Australia – Equestriad.

One of two huge competitions held at the Camden Bicentennial grounds the autumn event, which hosts both CIC and CNC classes and takes place this weekend on 18th & 19th April, has once again attracted the big names in the CIC classes from all over Australia as well as hundreds of grassroots riders

For many, this is a lead up competition to the Sydney International Horse Trials on 1st-3rd May and there has been a mass exodus from Western Australia this week as riders head east over the Nullarbor for Equestriad and Sydney IHT with various levels of horses including the Australian International 3 Day Event CCI4* winner, Jess Manson's Legal Star. There are also plenty that have made the journey down from Queensland with Charlotte Price, Rebel Morrow, Isabel English and the Australian International 3 Day Event CCI2* winner, the lovely grey Cushavon Crackerjack ridden by Kirsty Douglas

Another popular grey will be back at his first event since the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy last year – Pluto Mio ridden by Stuart Tinney. They are the first cab off the rank in the CIC3* on Saturday with their dressage test at 8:30am and it will be a long day as the 3* riders also do their show jumping the same evening under lights starting at 7:30pm. The CIC2* class also have late afternoon jumping while the two divisions of CIC1* do both their cross country and show jumping on Sunday

With 22 classes it is going to be a BUSY weekend! Allira Fontana will be there capturing images for our photo gallery and of course we’ll be bringing you our 4* reports, interviews and more throughout the weekend

See you at Equestriad!
