Algebra seems to have forgotten the anthem but Andrew knows it well .......
While all eyes were on Kentucky, Australia’s Andrew Hoy opted to take some of his new stars of the stable to the more relaxed Italian venue of Montelibretti
This venue has been happy hunting ground for Andrew in the past (and a great source of olive oil) and this weekend some of the new additions to HOY Eventing put their best foot forward. The little pocket rocket Algebra, previously competed by Nat Blundell, took out the CCI3*, finishing on their dressage score of 45.60 while Cheeky Calimbo finished ninth in the same class. Belgium’s Karin Donckers took second place on Grandioz and Sara Algotsson-Ostholt was third riding Reality 39.
You can't miss him! Right To Play's Jack Sparrow finishes 6th in his first CCI1*
In the CCI1* Italy’s Blasi Francesca took the honours riding Fernhill Chivas but Andrew’s colourful Right to Play’s Jack Sparrow finished in sixth place
Team HOY now head to Badminton with Lanfranco and Rutherglen – join us there for news, interviews, photos and more ........
