Buggies and buses at Blenheim

Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials wins the Joules award for the Best Equine Event of the year at the BETA awards

It’s an event that is on our ‘must-do’ list every year and it seems that many others agree.

Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials won the Joules award for the Best Equine Event of the year at the BETA awards dinner at the British Equestrian Trade Association Gala Dinner on 16th February.

What do we love about it? Of course it’s well organised, packed with top class riders, held at a stunning venue but there are a few things that really make it for us and they include Sandy Thwaites and her great team in the Press Office who often offer a little tipple of wine after a long day (and chocolates in the fridge all day long)

      Thank you Nina - ably assisted by wine waiter NormAus

      Then of course there are the luxury loos ..................

And of course the multiple methods of transport including;

      The bus (actually it doesn’t move as it is a bar, but ….. )

       The buggies (heaven for media girls in a hurry)

      The train (who can resist a ride to the car park on that?)

We'll be back at Blenheim this year from September 11th - 14th. Maybe the winner of our trip to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games will extend their trip to visit Blenheim too? Don't forget we're providing airfares from any capital city to London so you could extend your stay a few days to take in Burghley and Blenheim too and really make a holiday of it!
