The 15 year old thoroughbred Under The Clocks (Ninja) has been based in the UK with the USA’s Tiana Coudray for about three years now. During this time his Australian based owner Murray Lamperd has travelled to the UK to compete Under The Clocks at 2* and 3* star as well as completing Burghley CCI4* twice (finishing 10th in 2014 as best performed first timers) and being a member of the Australian Olympic Squad in preparation for Rio 2016.
He has also competed at Badminton, Luhmuhlen, Aachen and, during these visits, was based based in Germany and trained with Gilbert Boeckmann.
“Ninja is loved by all who meet this kind and loving horse” says Murray “He never stops trying and we think we couldn't have taken a more appropriate horse for a first trip overseas. He allowed lucky me and our family to gain a massive amount of experience at events I never thought I would get to ride at”
In June 2017, Under The Clocks and Tiana competed at their first 3* together at one of England’s top events, Bramham International Horse Trials, to finish 5th in the CIC3*.
“Now the time has come to find a new home for him. He will make a wonderful teacher to a talented young rider, or a successful elder statesman in someone's performance team. He is bound to be a favorite of the grooms and riders. It’s just the way it goes with Ninja” says Murray
