Edwina Tops-Alexander wins Doha World Cup

Australia’s Edwina Tops-Alexander has won the World Cup Grand Prix in Doha riding Old Chap Tame.

Edwina and her 12 year old stallion ((Carthago x Quidam de Revel), previously ridden by Eugenie Angot and purchased by Jan Tops for his wife in late 2013, beat 11 other combinations in the second round of the FEI World Cup Arab League competition with a fast clear round of 49.29.

Qatar’s Ali Al-Rumaihi riding Gunder also jumped clear in 50.37 seconds to take second place and the Saudi rider Abdullah Al-Sharbatly was third riding La Toya 44 with four faults in 49.52 seconds.
