The organisation of the FEI World Championships 2022 in Eventing and Driving is well under way with a new logo unveiled
In ten months’ time the FEI World Championships 2022 in Eventing and Driving will take place at Pratoni del Vivaro from 14th – 25th September, 62 years after hosting the cross country for the 1960 Rome Olympic Games. Since then, it has hosted prestigious events such as the Eventing, Driving and Endurance European and World Championships and the Ranieri Campello Equestrian Centre has also been the setting for many professional training courses organised by the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation.
A new logo has been created for the Championships to be held at Pratoni, reflecting the history of the site near Rome and the Standards used by the Roman legions, with specific reference to those of the Battle of Lake Regillus. The Standard, square in shape and embroidered in gold, usually included images of victories, decorations or gods in action, zoomorphic symbols or other mythological figures.
On this occasion however, the colour chosen is purple, predominantly used in FEI World Championships 2022 communication for all disciplines and is of course dominated by the horse
No doubt the Italian teams will be proudly flying their Standards at Pratoni in 2022 – roll on the FEI World Championships 2022 in Eventing and Driving!
