Chatsworth International will host the British leg of the FEI Nations Cup in 2023
The 2023 British Eventing calendar is now published with the season kicking off on Saturday March 4th and ending on 22nd October 2023
While many of the British eventing season’s favourite fixtures are to be found, there are some changes, additions and new Qualifying methods
British Nations Cup Leg CCIO4*-S
One of the major changes is the move of the only British leg of the Nations Cup, previously held at Houghton Hall to Chatsworth International on 13th & 14th May 2023 and the long format classes previously held at Houghton have moved to Bicton Arena International (May 25th – 28th)
British Young Horse Championships
The popular British Young Horse Championships for 5, 6 and 7-Year-Old Horses, held for many years as part of Osberton International (27th Sept – Oct 1st), will now take place at Cornbury House in Oxfordshire (7th – 10th September)

Eventing Spring Carnival at Thoresby International: March 30th – April 2nd
Burnham Market International: April 14th – 16th
Badminton CCI5* and British Grassroots Championships: May 3rd – 8th
Belsay International and British Pony Championships: May 31st – June 4th
Bramham International and BE80 Championships: June 8th – 11th
Barbury International: July 6th – 9th
Burgham International: July 26th – 30th
Festival of British Eventing: Aug 4th – 6th
Hartpury International: Aug 10th – 13th
Burghley CCI5*: Aug 31st – Sept 5th
Blenheim Palace International: Sept 14th – 17th
Little Downham International: 26th September
U18 Youth Championships
Two venues will share the U18 Youth Championships in 2023 with Bishop Burton in East Yorkshire hosting the BE100 and Novice Championships (July 27th – 30th) and Chillington Hall in Staffordshire hosting the BE80 and BE90 Championships (September 9th & 10th)
Go BE
After the trial in 2022, GoBE classes will be available across multiple venues with GoBE BE80 – BE100 classes requiring no membership fee payable and offering unpublished results across all levels.
Stand-alone GoBE fixtures will be run at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire (Aug 5th & 6th) and Barbury Castle in Wiltshire (14th & 15th July).
Regional Championships
Regional Championships will replace the Area Festivals, acting as qualifiers for the NAF Five Star BE80 Championships at Bramham and the Voltaire Design BE90 and BE100 Grassroots Championships at Badminton
They will be held at five venues across the country – Glamis Castle in Angus, Frickley Park in South Yorkshire, Chillington Hall in Staffordshire, Port Eliot in Cornwall and Little Downham in Cambridgeshire
