Hugs, kisses and polos for Hollyfield after finishing the dressage test
The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials may not be a team event but this is the first CCI4* that Lissa Green has competed at under the Australian flag
Lissa joins just three other Australian competitors on the start list this year, Warren Lamperd, Paul Tapner and Sam Griffiths. Two of these are past winners here - Sam on Paulank Brockagh (2014) and Paul on Inonothing (2010) – but the person who holds the record for the most number of wins at Badminton is of course Lissa’s mum, Lucinda Green, having won the event six times on six different horses.
Lucinda has already given an interesting overview of the cross country courses at Badminton and Kentucky in an interview with Samantha Clark but her daughter Lissa is the rider who gets the benefit of walking the course with her mum – and they are course walks which take some time!
We caught up with Lissa to find out more about her thoughts on her dressage test and what is coming up on cross country
